Meet Our Team

She teaches Yin, Restorative and Hatha flows, her classes, sound baths and workshops are considered to be gentle, therapeutic & grounding. As a modern day healer Darlene intertwines her knowledge of this ancient system of healing with yoga wisdom tradition to promote a blissful and abundant balance of mind, body and spirit that students can embody in their daily lives on and off the mat ૐ

Alex

  • Alex first began practicing yoga as a curious teenager growing up in San Francisco, but being a stocky and inflexible soccer player, many of the poses felt out of reach. Along the way, she met incredible and encouraging teachers who showed her that yoga has many more layers to discover. This took her on a journey to explore the spiritual, mental, and physical benefits of incorporating yogic practices as a way of daily life. She holds a 500-HR YT certification and a 200-HR meditation teacher certification. Alex is also trained in trauma-informed yoga and brings these teachings of inclusivity, respect, and embodiment into all her classes.

Esther

  • Esther fell in love with the practice and how it aided her mental, physical, and spiritual health. She got her 200 hour yoga teacher certification after her first year of regular practice back in 2019.

In her classes you can expect gentle reminders to seek out kindness with how you interact with yourself and your body in your practice and in the outside world. You can find moments of fiery holds, foundational single leg balancing postures, as well as tender holds in restorative postures.

The way Esther sees it, this practice is a safe space to work and process varying degrees of information: physical, mental, and emotional. With every shape and breath there is a release of tension in both the mind and the body. Mindful breath and movement create waves of change on and off the mat.

Deborah

  • Deborah’s Path into yoga and meditation began after reading a book from Ram Dass “Grist from the Mill” A spark was ignited and her spiritual journey began to unfold. This was a natural progression being a lifelong lover of dance, movement and the metaphysical. She found that all the answers we need reside within our own stillness.

Deborah Taught Early childhood education for over 15 years and infused her teachings with yoga and mindfulness, this inspired her to receive training in yoga, so she could share the practice with others, she received her 200 hr. Yoga Certification in 2015 under the tutelage of Denaya Dailey. In 2020 on a path to learn more about healing the mind, and physical body, she received her certification in Meditation under the tutelage of Tracee Stanley and her Certification as an Ayurvedic Wellness Coach through Shakti School.

Her greatest inspiration and Teacher is Mother nature, and infuses this wisdom into all her teachings. She weaves her love of yoga, meditation, mantra, pranayama, sound, and nature into a heart opening experience. She invites us to not take meditation so seriously, everyone can meditate! It is in your nature to be present in the stillness. She encourages a playful, curious, loving energy to your practice.

Deborah’s hobbies include hiking with her husband and dog Pepper, a rescued Collie shepherd, gardening, practicing & learning herbalism, making ghee, and spice churnas, chanting, playing ukulele, writing, and reading.

Dani

  • Shortly after moving to California from the Midwest in 2017, Dani received her 200hr YTT from School Yoga Institute. In 2021, she received her 500 YTT from Lakshmi Rising. Since then she has been "on a mad quest to learn and share everything about yoga!" Recently back from 150 hours of specialized training in Yin and Yoga Nidra, she is especially excited to share these practices and help people incorporate them into their lives.

Her unique talents lie in breaking the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga down into tangible, easy to digest pieces. She brings her concrete knowledge of neuroscience, anatomy, and the yoga sutras to each class and delivers the information with a healthy dose of humor and relatability.

She is passionate about making health and wellness resources available to everyone and creating a safe space that celebrates and supports diversity in all its forms.

She takes what she learns as a high school English teacher (for 17 years!) to craft yoga and meditation experiences for overwhelmed people. Cindy’s students are better able to confront the daily challenges they face by learning to recognize and regulate their emotions and reactive responses – through a strong yoga and meditation practice.

Amelia

  • Being able to offer aerial classes is exciting to me and I hope you’ll feel the same way too. What looks intimidating at first will calm you in the end. What turns you upside down will make you feel invigorated. What touches your skin will help you sink into a deep relaxation. What’s bottled up inside of you will gradually release as you let gravity claim you.

My yoga practice started in 2001 when I stepped into my first Bikram yoga class. Since then, I received my 200 RYT from Avalon Yoga in Palo Alto, have trained and been certified with essential figures in Yin Yoga in the US, Canada and Asia, namely Sarah Powers of Insight Yoga Institute, Bernie Clark, teacher and author of the Complete Guide to Yin Yoga and have offered/hosted Yin Yoga Teacher Training Certification with Jo Phee's Yinspiration program. I received my certification in Aerial Yoga from Pik Chu Wong, TYS, Campbell.

Megan’s teaching is rooted in her ancestral traditions of earthen energy work, with the goal of inspiring meaningful flow-state to practice rerooting with collective and universal energy. You can expect a quick-paced, strengthening and sweaty flow from her Power Yoga and Vinyasa classes centering the cultivation of inner fire through the breath accompanied by relatable stories of our connection to nature, the seasons, moons, and planetary shifts.
